Location St. John Bosco Church and its school are located in south Hammond, Indiana. Our address is 7113 Columbia Avenue. Hammond is in the northwest corner of the state of Indiana, very close to Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Driving Directions If you are coming from out of town, take the Borman Expressway, also known as I-80/I-94. If you are coming from either East or West, Take Exit 1, north. (This is the westernmost exit on Interstate 80/Interstate-94, i.e. “the closest to Illinois.”) Pass through the first stoplight, which is 175th Street (Subway shop, School Stuff store on corners). At the next stoplight, turn right, or East. This is 173rd St. (Walgreen’s, Clark gas station). After eight (8) blocks, you will come to a stoplight, which is Columbia Avenue (Wilson School, Young Cleaners). Turn Left / north. Two blocks, you come to a stop sign, and our church. Turn right (East) to reach our free parking lot.
